Fall Cupcake Tower

Grandma turned 85 with much love! Open house party meant that people would be coming and going at different times. So cupcakes seemed like a good way to let everyone have a bit of dessert whenever they were there. We just refilled the tower as needed.

Top cake was chocolate 6" with chocolate buttercream wicker basket. Flowers made of fondant and gumpaste.

Chocolate and vanilla cupcakes each with a special flower on top of buttercream (really thick).

Great way to do birthdays and other parties.

For Fun

Two cakes that weren't ordered... but were for fun!

Bunco night at my house meant chocolate covered cakes with jelly filling. Bite size dice.

Dinner party at a friends meant providing a dessert. Wow, this was a peanut butter overload! Cream cheese icing covering four layers of chocolate cake with melted peanut butter between each layer and cream cheese icing. YUM!

Indiana Jones

This was a fun one. An oval chocolate cake covered in fondant sits on top of a 1/2 sheet cake (butter) covered in chocolate buttercream icing. Whip and map of fondant. One inch edge of graham cracker and oreo crumbs. Was a hit with the birthday boy!

Any Occasion Calls for Flowers

This was a fun cake to make that would be great for any occasion including a teenage birthday, shower, etc.

It is covered in white fondant and gumpaste flowers. However, I do believe I would suggest it in white buttercream and not the fondant base. Just simply yummier as well as cute.

Some Cakes

3-D Rubber Ducky Cake
(with chocolate covered oreo's for "bubbles")

Same cake can be used for some really cute baby shower cakes!

Wedding or Bridal Shower Cake

Covered in fondant.

Three tier polka dot cake.

(Polka dots are fondant but the rest is icing as it tastes better that way. Can do in all fondant for cleaner look.)

Super Hero Cake

(All icing except characters. Those are additional cost.)

Simpler Options

Both of thse cakes were for my kids as a quick one I did in class. They are simple and basic types of options.

Any shape can be done in star icing. This was done super fast. Does your little person want a favorite cartoon character?
